Ang Paghuhukom Na Parang Groundhog Day

Tuwing tag-init, narito ulit—ang eksaktong footage ni Chimezie Metu sa cutters, footwork, at pagtatapon mula sa mid-post. Parang naka-loop lang ang training. Bilang taong nag-aanalisa ng efficiency ng mga manlalaro araw-araw, tanong ko: may epekto ba talaga ito?

May elite athleticism siya—40-inch vertical, mabilis na lateral movement—but his offense ay patuloy na nakakasalalay sa contact finishes. Sino ang nagpapahusay sa mid-range shot niya tulad ni Tracy McGrady?

Ang Tunay na Problema: Walang Strategikong Pagbabago

Naiintindihan ko: hindi nila siya pinapagawa ng mga shot mula sa labas dahil wala silang pagsalungat. Kaya ano? Hindi siya natututo mag-isa.

El loop de la grasa

Cada verano es lo mismo: Metu corriendo cortes como si el tiempo se hubiera congelado. ¿Ritual? Más bien un videojuego de entrenamiento que no avanza.

¿Por qué no tira desde lejos?

Su defensa lo ignora desde 15 pies… y él sigue haciendo post moves como si fuera el año 2010. ¡No hay presión! No aprende ritmo ni confianza.

El verdadero problema

No es su físico (¡40 pulgadas de salto!), es el sistema: entrenar sin oposición real es como bailar tango con un maniquí.

¿Coach Brown? ¡Hágale enfrentar defensores reales desde tres! Que grite como en el juego real… ¡y no solo en el video!

On dirait un film de science-fiction où Metu fait la même séquence d’entraînement depuis 2019… Cutters, post moves, shouts… mais personne ne défend à trois mètres ! 🤯

On adore le travail de fond… mais quand on n’entraîne pas la confiance au tir longue distance ? C’est comme apprendre à conduire dans une rue sans voitures.

Coach Brown : si tu veux qu’il devienne un héros, fais-lui subir des défenseurs en vrai pendant l’été !
